helps with customer service anxiety
This has the same effect for me as a shot of whiskey can do for your anxiety / thinking too much about unnecessary or non existing potentially bad scenrarios. I take 2 pills 30 minutes before work. It has helped. The bottle recommends 2x 200 mg twice daily. I have no taken the liberty to take a 2nd dose yet, as im trying to avoid any tolerance. Overall it has helped calm my nerves, less irritability, more empathic with customers. I combiine this with a cup coffee to inmprove overall 'alertness' however, since I am also a security guard. I use this only three or four days of my work week.

One retired physician of Indian descend recommended this herb for decreasing strees, better sleep, and other health issues. I have never taken pills before, shouldn't say, being sceptical, have tried for the past 3 weeks: it works. I am unable to be faithful with taking it twice a day, again, never taken more than two Tylenols a day. But from what I can judge, it really makes a difference. I am a professional: read all info available through professional sites: very few side effects. Yhere is one small study, that high doses can cause Thyrotoxicosis.The only drawback: huge capsule, have to position my head to let it pass throuhg my pipes.BZOB.

Great supplement
I heard about Ashwaganda on the Dr. Oz show and decided to try it. I have been taking it for about a month now and have noticed an all over "feel better" feeling. No miracle, nor have I suddenly returned to the energy of my teens. But I do feel better and do have more energy.

This was recommended by Dr. Klinghardt's office for adrenal support. Dr. Klinghardt is a leader in the area of chronic disease especially in chronic Lyme Disease and Autism. He was elected Physician of the year in 2007 for integrative medicine. He was in charge of running one of the largest pain center's in USA (Santa Fe). Though I'm not so familiar with medicine and such, but they recommended it as a key nutritional support for the adrenals and increasing energy. I know there are thousands of things you could take that claim to increase energy, I would recommend this as a natural safe method.

No More CRANKINESS
RESULTS:This stuff has noticeably helped with my evening crankiness. I'm a morning person, but get irritable at night, which isn't a good thing when you have small kids. Cortisol tests (saliva) showed that my cortisol levels were nearly unreadable at night, so the doctor recommended I supplement with this stuff. Well, it works wonderfully. I take one in the morning, and one early afternoon. Sometimes I miss the afternoon dosage, and that seems to still be okay. I've been taking it for nearly 2 months now, and have noticed a small decrease in effectiveness (the body getting used to the stuff, I guess). I hope that trend doesn't continue. I used to take tryptophan, which helped the mood and sleep, but only caused cortisol levels to decrease more, making my workouts less effective. Just completed another cortisol test, and will see if levels have increased. I'm sure they have, considering my improved mood at night. If I find a way to update this review, I'll include the...

It helps to relax and gives energy in a same time. I used to be sleeping 10 hours and couldn't wake up easily. When I started to use this, I sleep for 7-8 hours, very deep sleep and I wake up without alarm clock now! Pleased with the product, going to use it for much longer.

Life Saver
I'm a new nurse and am under a lot of stress at work. Often I would forget things, or feel disorganized, which caused me even more stress. I did a lot of research and found ashwagandha might help to clear my head by helping my body and mind to deal with the stress. I have to say, I have noticed a great improvement in my ability to focus and remember things. This helps me to calmly organize my day and to deal with interruptions without being thrown off track. The only side effect I've noticed is a better night's sleep. One note: If you take a blood thinner, like Coumadin, you should probably not use ashwaghanda. Check with your doctor first.

Relaxing for nervousness / anxiety
This is a great product. I take two per day - and it absolutely significantly cuts down your stress level - without making you drowsy. It does not affect you negatively from a cognitive perspective. Thinking is clear - you are merely able to tolerate stress. I highly recommend this product for anxiety and nervousness. It is excellent.

Has changed my life!
I am a 43 yr old woman with Epstein-Barr (chronic fatigue), now suffering from perimenopause. I cannot begin to tell you how this has changed my life - has helped with energy, sleep, hot flashes, mood swings, irritability, depression etc. Not for everyone, do some research to see if this herb is right for you but I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER want to be without it; I just take one at night before bed. Once I ran out for 2 weeks and was impossible to be around. My PMS was so bad the doctor prescribed me antidepressants, which did not work. This is my cure - makes me feel happy & contented, no anxiety. I now have enough energy to live a normal life. Even reduces my sugar cravings! I have been taking it for almost a year now and have never had any side effects, either.

Good Ashwagandha!
I don't normally buy this brand. Their rhodiola is not very good. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this ashwagandha. It's good stuff! The reason is that this is a patented form of ashwagandha sold by another company and just repackaged by Jarrow. It's "Sensoril" which works quite well. I've found that Sensoril does the trick for me before bedtime. I compared this with another brand of sensoril ashwagandha and it was identical, so as long as it says Sensoril, you're OK.
