Good stuff for EVERYONE, cold sores or not
I have been fortunate to only experience a very mild, occasional cold sore on my lip. Actually, it's not even occasional any more, thanks to this stuff. If I take one or two doses of this, at the first suggestion of irritation (tingling/etc) the problem never actualizes.Part of my line of work involves being out in elaborate-yet-not-warm costume in all types of weather. I love this supplement!
I love this product.I have Crohn's disease and get recurrent shingles also. Sometimes I just feel achy all over when this occurs. When I feel the pain of my shingles coming on the back of my leg, I start the L-Lysine. All in all, for me, it seems the autoimmune diseases are connected, though I have NO medical background. I felt awful the last 2 weeks, then (finally) started this supplement, and I quickly am back to my old self.I have used it for years. I use this particular brand, as I have used other L-Lysine that didn't work for me.If you have any kind of autoimmune disease, you might try this. Works but with some limitations
I had 3 cold sores in about 2 months time and I didn't take these pills daily but started taking them after the first tingle. The first one lasted about a week and was rather small with mild irration. So small in fact that I wasn't really self conscious about it except for the fact that I can't kiss my wife during that week. In this particular case, I used this product along with the Zicam oral swabs.The second one was even smaller and lasted about 3 days from start to finsih. I really didn't even notice it except for the lysine cream on my lips along with really minor irration. BEST Cold Sore Treatment!

A great lysine cream, for relieving cold sore misery.....

Finally, some relief!
My poor husband gets cold sores when he is out in the sun, especially if out on the water. He felt it coming on & it was a douzy! So painful he had trouble sleeping & he was drinking through a staw to keep from injuring it more. Only stuff that will relieve the pain of a canker sore in 2 days
I get really bad canker sores, I have ever since I was a child. I have used everything. I used to take L-Lysine, and it worked, but it took about 4 days to a week to really start working on the bad ones. I would double or triple the dose to try to speed it up.This stuff, however, is the best I have tried so far. I will never be without Super Lysine again. When I am getting low, I order more. I recommend it to everyone I know. When I get a new canker sore, I take it immediately and it stops the sore from getting bad. I have doubled the dose of this when I get a major break out of them. It will almost completely heal a bad canker sore in 5 days. Usually, it takes about 2 weeks for mine to completely heal, and thats without taking anything for them.It has Vitamin C, 1500 mg L-Lysine, Garlic Bulb, Echinacea, Propolis and Licorice Root in it. Can't live without these!!
I love these little pills sooo much! I used to get cold sores all of the time and they were so embarassing... ughh! But ever since I've been taking these (about a year), I haven't had a single cold sore. I take (2) every day and if I start to feel sick at all I'll take (3) to help my immune system. My boyfriend gets cold sores too so I turned him onto these and he still gets them, but not as frequently and they don't last nearly as long as they used to. Definately recommend this!! I suffered from small outbreaks on the mouth once a month before I used this product. No out breaks now for six months, I take one pill a day and I think it really helped. Lysine is supposed to be more effective for the entire immune system then Mallissa.

Much needed comfort

The name says it all!
I only wish I had found this earlier! I use wonder salve primarily for eczema and chapped lips, but have also put it on scrapes and burns and bites...I don't go anywhere without it. Even though I use it frequently, it lasts a long time. It doesn't work as quickly as hydrocortisone on my eczema, but it is natural and doesn't have side-effects with long-term use.Propolis does have a peculiar smell, but I got used to it and don't mind it now. I ordered this after discovering Durham's Canker Rid, which is the only product I have ever found that heals my canker sores and doesn't just numb them. A+ product!
